How a Roof Job Runs, Start to Finish
Five steps, with a phone call from us whenever a date or detail changes.
- 1
Your call and a visit window
Tell us what you're seeing: a stain on the ceiling, granules in the gutters, shingles in the yard. We set an arrival window for the inspection that fits your day.
- 2
Inspection and written estimate
We walk the roof, check the decking for soft spots, look at flashing, vents and gutters, and photograph what we find. You get a line-item estimate with the expected number of working days.
- 3
Date, permit and delivery
Once you approve, we put your job on the calendar, pull the permit where one is required and book material delivery for the day before work starts. We tell you where the trailer and shingle pallets will go so your driveway plans aren't a guess.
- 4
Work days with daily updates
We tarp landscaping, tear off to the deck, replace bad sheets, then install underlayment, shingles, flashing and ventilation. At the end of each day you get a short update on what's done and what's next, and we run a magnet over the yard for nails.
- 5
Final walk-through
We go over the finished roof with you, share the after photos and clear the last of the debris. Any question about the work gets answered before we leave.

Roofing Services for Your Home
Every roof we take on gets the benefit of 30+ years of roofing experience, and the work is done under our Oklahoma CIB roofing license, from a single cracked pipe boot to a full tear-off. Roof replacement, roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters each get their own scope, crew time and calendar slot, so a small repair doesn't sit behind a week of reroofs. Finished work is backed by our lifetime warranty.

Roof Replacement
Full tear-off to the deck, new underlayment, flashing and ventilation, installed on a schedule we explain up front and update when weather shifts.

Roof Repair
Leaks, lifted shingles, cracked pipe boots and loose flashing repaired at the cause, with a visit window you know ahead of time.
Roof Inspections
A close look at shingles, flashing, vents and the attic underneath, with photos and a clear answer on what needs attention now and what can wait.
Storm Damage Repair
Hail bruises, lifted shingles and dented metal found, photographed and repaired, with a realistic start date and updates if weather moves the plan.
Gutters
New gutters and gutter repairs sized to your roof's runoff, pitched to drain toward the downspouts, and installed on a date you can count on.
Where Your Roof Estimate Comes From
Two houses built the same year can still end up with very different estimates. The number depends on roof size, what's hiding under the shingles and how much care the work takes to do safely. These are the things we measure and check before pricing anything.
Every estimate is written line by line after we've been on the roof and in the attic where possible. The per-sheet decking price is on it, so a surprise under the shingles never becomes a surprise on the bill.
- Size and pitch
- Roofs are priced by the square, or 100 square feet. A steep pitch needs roof jacks, toe boards and harnesses, and every bundle moves slower, so labor goes up with the slope.
- Layers to remove
- A second layer of shingles doubles the tear-off weight and the disposal load. It also hides the decking, which is one reason we rarely recommend laying new shingles over old ones.
- Decking condition
- Soft or delaminated OSB and plywood have to be replaced sheet by sheet before new underlayment goes down. Nobody can see every bad sheet until tear-off, so we list a per-sheet price in the estimate.
- Shingle line and accessories
- Standard architectural shingles, impact-rated shingles, ridge vent, ice and water shield in the valleys and starter strip all carry different costs. We explain what each one does on your roof so you can choose.
- Flashing and penetrations
- Chimneys, skylights, sidewalls and plumbing vents each need their own flashing. A roof with many penetrations takes more hand work than an open gable.
- Permits and season
- Permit fees apply where the city requires one. After a spring hail run, material supply and crew calendars tighten, which can affect both timing and price.
How We Keep Your Roof Job on Track
A roof is the one part of your home that can't be left half done overnight. That's why we plan the days before we promise them.
- 01
Arrival windows, not all-day waits
For inspections and repair visits, we give you a set arrival window the day before. If a job ahead of yours runs long, we call to tell you, instead of leaving you watching the driveway.
- 02
Start dates built from real crew time
Before we set a date, we count the squares, the layers to tear off and the pitch. A steep two-layer roof takes longer than a walkable single layer, and the number of working days in your estimate reflects that.
- 03
A call when weather moves the plan
We don't tear off decking with rain on the radar, and we don't hand-carry shingle bundles across a roof in high Oklahoma wind. When the forecast forces a change, you hear from us with the new date, not from an empty driveway.
- 04
Materials on site before tear-off
We confirm your shingles, underlayment, drip edge and flashing are delivered before we remove anything. Your roof is never opened up while we wait on a back-ordered ridge cap.
- 05
A written scope with photos
You get photos of what we found, from lifted tabs to rusted step flashing, and a line-item estimate that matches them. You know what's being done and why before anyone climbs a ladder.

Questions We Hear Most
Something not covered here? (572) 231-8302
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-layer asphalt shingle reroofs on a typical home take one to three working days. Steep pitch, a second layer to tear off or a lot of decking replacement add time. Your estimate lists the expected working days for your roof, and we update you if the count changes once the old shingles are off.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?
We don't tear off with rain in the forecast, because wet decking can't be covered properly. If weather pushes your start, we call with a new date as soon as we know. If rain comes in mid-job, any open section is dried in with underlayment and secured before we leave.
Do I need a repair or a full replacement?
It depends on what we find. A few lifted shingles, a failed pipe boot or loose flashing are repairs. Widespread granule loss, brittle shingles that crack when lifted, or soft decking in several places usually point to replacement. We show you photos and explain which applies to your roof.
Will you help with my insurance claim after a hailstorm?
We inspect the roof, photograph hail bruising, damaged vents and dented gutters, and give you a written scope you can share with your insurer. We explain how the claim process usually goes and can meet the adjuster on the roof if you'd like. The adjuster decides coverage; we don't.
Do you pull the permit?
Yes, where the city requires one for the work, we pull it and arrange any inspection. That step is built into your timeline so it doesn't delay your start date.
What warranty comes with your work?
We offer a lifetime warranty. Ask us about it when you call, and we'll go over how it applies to the job on your home.
Can you replace gutters at the same time as the roof?
Yes. Doing both together lets us set the drip edge and gutter line in one pass, so water runs off the shingles straight into the gutter. We line up the gutter work right after the roof so you aren't arranging a second crew.
Do I need to be home during the work?
Not for most of it. We need access to the driveway and an outdoor outlet, and we like to meet you at the start and at the final walk-through. Daily updates keep you informed if you're at work.

A Roofing Company That Plans the Days Before It Promises Them
Most frustration with roofers isn't about shingles. It's about waiting: a crew that was supposed to show Tuesday and arrives Friday, or a roof left under tarps with no word on when anyone is coming back. We built the way we run our calendar around fixing that.
That means a few habits we keep on every job. We count the squares and layers before we quote the days. We check the forecast before we tear anything off. We confirm materials are on site before the first shingle comes up. And when something changes, whether it's wind, rain or rotten decking that needs more time, we call you and explain why.
On the roof itself, we work the way the materials demand. Underlayment laps run in the right direction, step flashing is woven with each course along a wall, and nails go in the nail line so the shingle holds in wind. The calendar matters, but only because the work it protects is done right.
